Orchard Public Library To Host Holiday Open House

It’s beginning to look like Christmas as we now have the snow to put everyone into the holiday mood, and we at the library are no different.

The Orchard Public Library will be hosting a Christmas Open House & Story Hour on Saturday, Dec.17 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Story hour will be at 10:30 with a special Christmas elf reading to the children. Ages 3 through 6th grades are welcome.

Everyone else is welcome to come in have some hot cider, Christmas goodies and check out the books, movies, computers and everything else we have to offer.

With the weather turning cold out, it’s nice to snuggle up with a good book or movie.   We have lots to offer! New seasonal movies are The Smurfs a Christmas Carol, Loves Christmas Journey, and A Cookie Cutter Christmas, plus books such as The Christmas Town by Donna VanLiere, or Merry Christmas Cowboy by Janet Dailey (in large print), both great reads.  

Those of you who can’t make it in during library hours, don’t forget that the library offers Overdrive for your home computers, iPhone, iPads and tablets.

Also, the library has a laminate machine, copier, fax machine and the Cricket machine to help with your posters.   So if you haven’t been in for a while please stop in and just visit.
