Orchard Man Hospitalized Following Weekend Altercation

An Orchard man was hospitalized following an altercation late Saturday night and charges are pending review by the county attorney, according to law enforcement.

Antelope County Deputy John Shaver said two units responded to a disturbance call along Highway 20 near 2nd Street. An investigation ensued and statements were taken at the scene. 

Shaver said David Anderegg of Orchard was walking home from Double D’s Saloon when the altercation occurred between Anderegg and Thomas Harrison.

Anderegg was transported to Antelope Memorial Hospital and then to Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk with a fractured leg.

Shaver said no charges have been filed at this time, and the report will be turned over to Antelope County Attorney Joe Abler, who will review for possible charges.
