Orchard Celebration Days Planned This Weekend, July 25-27

Three fun-filled days of activities are planned for Orchard Celebration Days, Friday, July 25-Sunday, July 27.

There will be something for all ages, including a glow run/walk, street dance, sand volleyball, beer pong tournament, bingo and root beer floats, and swimming and kids' games.


The full schedule of activities is listed below: 

Friday, July 25
5 p.m. - Duck races at the pool by football players
6-7 p.m. - Road rally - registration downtown - food by Orchard Young Men's Club
8 p.m. - Glow Run/Walk registration begins, run/walk at 9 p.m. - $20, proceeds go to Cyclone Booster Club and FCA - call 402-893-2050 for more information

Saturday, July 26
Sand volleyball - call 402-340-2414 or 402-929-0394 for more information - concession stand during games, proceeds go to summer ball program
10 a.m. - Kids' games by volunteer firemen at ball field
1-5 p.m. - Free swim and party at the pool
9 p.m.-1 a.m. - Dance downtown - music by "The Rude Band" - food by Orchard Young Men's Club

Sunday, July 27
9 a.m. - Pancake feed by the firemen
10 a.m. - Community church service at Orchard Park
1 p.m. - Beer pong tournament at bar - contact Ashley Hauf or Cody Wright for information 
3 p.m. - "Year of the Cyclone" parade - call 402-394-5622 to register
Following parade - inflatables and water fights
4-7 p.m. - Bingo and root beer floats at the Rex Theatre - sponsored by the historical society
5-7 p.m. - Beef BBQ
