OC Adds Extra Day To Calendar After Monday's Snow

Monday’s snow day at Clearwater-Orchard means there likely one more day added the school calendar.

Orchard Principal Cathy Cooper told her advisory board members during Monday night’s meeting that no official decision had been made by administrators, but another day is necessary.

Cooper said seniors would not be affected and will still have final classes on Wednesday, May 3. Graduation is Saturday, May 6. 

Cooper proved correct on Tuesday when it was announced that Clearwater-Orchard will have another day. 

​Elementary track and field day will remain on Wednesday, May 17, and that will still be the final day for elementary students. Grades 7-12 will now attend school all day on Thursday, May 18, the last regular day of school. On Friday, May 19, students who have to take semester attendance tests will come to school all day and take all eight periods of their semester tests that day.
