O-C Powerlifters Bring Home Hardware From CSG In Lincoln

Four Clearwater-Orchard powerlifters traveled to Lincoln Saturday, July 16 for the Cornhusker State Games. 

Led by Coach Jeff Shabram, Cade Mlnarik, Gunnar Shabram, Justin Allemang and Zach King all made their way to Lincoln Christian High School for the powerlifting championships. The meet was an AAU sanctioned event and many state and national record were set by both adult and teen lifters. Nearly 100 competitors attempted to take home gold. 

All four of the Cyclone lifters took home medals and the team combined for eight personal bests. Shabram took home gold in the 148 lb raw class, Allemang was first in the 148 lb equipped class and King was the champion of the 181 lb raw class. Mlnarik was the silver medalist in the 123 lb raw class. 

The Clearwater-Orchard powerlifting season is set to officially begin Saturday, December 3 in Lexington with the Lexington High School Powerlifting Meet.
