Local Youth Attend 'Midnight Madness' Lock-In Event

Twenty-seven youth and three adult sponsors from the Orchard, Ewing and Clearwater communities attended the annual “Midnight Madness” lock-in sponsored by the Elkhorn Valley District of the United Methodist Church on Friday, April 1, at Wayne State College.

The event drew 138 youth from 14 different communities around Northeast Nebraska for a fun-filled night of worship, games, swimming, racquetball, basketball, dodgeball, gaga ball, nine square in the air, and some sleep (if needed). 

Those who attended from Orchard were Wyatt Shabram, Gunnar Shabram, Avery Cheatum, Taelyn Switzer, Collin Mullins, Eli Macke, Ashley Williams, Erin Schwager, Shawn Buxton, Danny Krivolavek, Ethan Wondercheck, and Jeff Shabram.  

From Ewing  wereLandon Hobbs, Anthony Umphress, Xavier Hobbs, Conner Napier, Logan Sanford, Joey Wright, Edward Davis, and Pastor Stuart Davis.

From Clearwater were Rafe Grebin, Tyler Bellar, Clay Thiele, Jaden Bellar, Tyler Wright, Cade Mlnarik, Zane Herley, Alyx Siems, Haley Blecher, and Brooklynn Chipps.
