Arrest Made After Recovery Of Ferguson Ag Loader

A Tilden man was arrested for allegedly stealing a loader valued at nearly $80,000 from Ferguson Ag near Orchard.

According to the Antelope County Sheriff's Department, Jacob Humphrey of Tilden is facing theft charges after allegedly stealing the loader on Tuesday, Aug. 22, from the agronomics company located west of Orchard, just inside Holt County.

Sheriff Bob Moore said his department was contacted about the missing equipment, which was discovered after it was transported to a shop east of Oakdale. Moore said the loader, which was used for dry fertilizer, was found with minimal damages.

Humphrey was arrested on Thursday and has since bonded out of the Antelope County Law Enforcement Center.
