Alumni Volleyball, Basketball Games Tip Off Friday

For the second year, Orchard High School alumni pulled up for shots and jumped up for spikes on Friday at the alumni girls volleyball and mens basketball games. 

The volleyball game started at 6 p.m. and the basketball game followed. As members of the teams were animatedly announced, they were given nicknames along with their names. 

These alumni registered for the volleyball game: Kris Tabbert, 1990; Julie Heese Petsche, 1997; Alyssa Mieras Arens, 1997; Ashley Hauf, 2006; Kalee Michaelson, 2010; Bailey Schwafer, 2014; Briana Stelling, 2016; Rachel Ickes Cheatum, 1996; Jodi Hergert Sorensen, 1998; Kate Young Watson, 2000; Denise Couch Meyer, 2006; Kailee Tabbert Schrock; Micaela Stelling, 2012; Mackenzie Cooper, 2013; and Mallory Cooper, 2016. The volleyball game was played in three sets to 25 points. 

These alumni registered for the basketball game: Dana Cheatum, 1988; Ramsy Robertson, 1997; Adam Ickes, 2001; Josh Stelling, 2002; Preston Blackmore, 2006; Tyson Schutt, 2012; Jagger Smith, 2016; Dal Elsberry, 1993; Matt Ickes, 1997; Tate Heiss, 2001; Kyle Erb, 2004; Tanner Schutt, 2006; Austin Twibell, 2006; and Tate Schutt, 2014. The basketball game was played in two 20-minute halves.
