A Letter From Orchard's New Library Director

​Hello everyone! this is Donna from the Orchard Public Library.   

First I would like to remind you of the Hours that we are open:
   Monday:  10 am - 3 pm, & 7 p.m - 9 pm
   Wednesday:  7 p.m. - 9 p.m.
   Thursday:  10 a.m - 3 p.m. & 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.
   Saturday:  10 a.m.- 3 p.m.

We will be closed this Thursday to celebrate Thanksgiving and then open regular hours on Saturday.      Please stop in.  If you don’t see a car don’t worry that we are closed, I only live a block away and walk most days.  

There is now a Community Board in the library, so please put up your sale ad or notices.   Right now I have posted a Grant Writing Workshop to take place in Plainview on December 14th.  Deadline for registration is December 8th.  For more details stop in and check out the poster.

Looking ahead to December, I will be doing a Story hour on Saturday, December 17th at 10:30 a.m.   As we look on into the New Year 2017, in January the Orchard Quilters group will be hosting a mini Quilt show in the meeting room.   More details as we get closer.  I hope everyone has a Wonderful Thanksgiving Weekend.
