Funeral Services For Timothy Anson

Funeral services for Timothy M. Anson, age 60, of Orchard, Nebraska will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 21, 2016, at United Methodist Church in Orchard. Reverend Stuart Davis will officiate, with burial at a later date in Oakdale Cemetery in Oakdale.

Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Brockhaus-Harlan Funeral Home in Tilden, Nebraska.

He died Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk, Nebraska.

Timothy M. Anson, son of Arvin and Ruth (Dietz) Anson, was born August 21, 1956, at Tilden, Nebraska. He graduated from Neligh High School in 1974. On June 17, 1978, Timothy was united in marriage to Kathleen Kraft at Congregational Church in Neligh. Two children were born to them, Bill and Jill.

Timothy lived in the Neligh and Orchard area throughout his life. He worked at Contois Motors, Morrison Farms and at the Orchard Cheese Factory. Timothy worked in the fertilizer business in Orchard and Tilden before becoming a floater operator at Helena in Brunswick. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing pool. He was also belonged to a dart club in Orchard.

Timothy is survived by his wife, Kathleen; his children, Bill and Jill; step-son, Garth (Krista) Feris; grandchildren, Morgan, Charlie, Caige, Carter, Jocie, Austin, and Landon; parents, Arvin and Ruth Anson; brothers, Terry (Sharon) Anson of Florida and Marvin (Nancy) of Stanton, Nebraska; sister, Diane (Kevin) Blair of Brunswick, Nebraska; and many nieces and nephews.

​He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
