Funeral Services For Terry Held

Terry Keith Held was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven on September 2nd, 2018.

He passed away at his home at Lake Ericson, Nebraska surrounded by his loved ones. Terry was born on March 6th, 1950 to Keith and LaVonne (Weyers) Held in Burwell, Nebraska.

He spent his childhood in Ericson and graduated from Wheeler County High School in 1968 and from the University of Nebraska with his Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture in 1971. On June 14, 1969 he married Kathy Clouse and together were blessed with three children, Jason, Matt and Heidi. Early on, Terry was an Ag teacher, plumber, electrician, farmer, and eventually found his passion as a Real Estate Broker and Farm Manager. He had owned and operated Cabin Realty and Ag Services for the last 30 years. Terry spent his adult life in the Ericson, Neligh and Verdigre areas where he was known as a kind and generous man full of wisdom and adventure. He found joy in spending time with his friends and family, traveling and helping others. On September 23rd, 2012, Terry married Linda Kittisinthana. They spent their six years together taking many adventures and enjoying a happy life in Ericson.

Terry is survived by his wife Linda Held; children Jason (Sophia Sierks) Held of Atkinson, Nebraska., Matt (Elizabeth Nutter) Held of Clovis, California, and Heidi Bitney of Norfolk, Nebraska.; 8 grandchildren, Bryce, Chloe, Gracie, Zach, Ella, Tyla, Livia, and Maddie; a sister Judy (Norm) Mieth of Norfolk, Nebraska.; a brother Dean (Sandy Ernst) Held of Stockham, Nebraska, and numerous special nieces, nephews, and friends.

​A Celebration of Terry’s Life will be held at Clear Creek Lodge near Bartlett, Nebraska on Sunday, September 9th at 1 pm with Pastor Alison Rook assisting family with the celebration. (Clear Creek Lodge is 4 miles south of Bartlett and 2 ½ miles west on 828th Road)
