Funeral Services For Scott Osborn

Funeral services for Scott Osborn, age 70, of Meadow Grove, Nebraska will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at First Christian Church in Norfolk, Nebraska. Pastor Tim DeFor will officiate, with burial in Tilden City Cemetery following the luncheon.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brockhaus-Harlan Funeral Home in Tilden, Nebraska.

Scott died Saturday, April 15, 2017, at his residence.

Perry “Scott” Osborn, son of Harold and Ruth (Hales) Osborn was born February 27, 1947, at Tilden, Nebraska. He graduated from Tilden High School in 1965. Scott was united in marriage to Bobbie Lee Eymann at the Tilden Methodist Church. They were blessed with three children, Christe, Jackie, and Dean.

Scott was a farmer, did custom work, and hauled and ground hay. In 1995, he started local trucking and hauled grain. Scott started tractor pulling in 1968, and was a member of the National Antique Tractor Pullers Association. He was also a member of Northeast Nebraska Pullers Association, Inc., in which he held various offices. He attended First Christian Church in Norfolk and enjoyed reading tractor magazines, assembling models, and loved family time.

Scott is survived by his wife, Bobbie Osborn of Meadow Grove, Nebraska; children, Christe (Al) Hancock of Wakefield, Nebraska, Jackie (Josh) Anderson of Meadow Grove, Nebraska and Dean (Amy) Osborn of Grand Island, Nebraska; nine grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; brother, Kirk (Cindy) Osborn of Meadow Grove; sister, Carole (Delmar) Jensen of Tilden, Nebraska; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-mother; and one great-niece.
