Funeral Services For Majol Cornett

Funeral services for Majol M. Cornett, age 84, of Oakdale, Nebraska will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 11, 2017, at United Methodist Church in Oakdale. John Petersen will officiate, with burial in Tilden City Cemetery in Tilden, Nebraska.

Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Brockhaus-Harlan Funeral Home in Tilden, Nebraska.

Majol died Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at Neligh Care and Rehabilitation Center in Neligh, Nebraska.

Majol M. Cornett, daughter of Harvey and Sadie Henderson, was born November 24, 1932, at rural Oakdale, Nebraska. She attended Oakdale District #1 School. Majol married William Dean Cornett and they were blessed with three children, Brenda K. Johnson, Phillip A. Cornett, and James C. Cornett. Majol attended United Methodist Church in Oakdale.

Majol is survived by her daughter, Brenda K. Johnson of Lincoln, Nebraska; son, James Craig Cornett and wife Anita Litwitz of Tilden, Nebraska; and granddaughter, Stephanie Johnson of Fremont, Nebraska.

​She was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Cornett and her son, Phillip A. Cornett.
