Funeral Services For Larry Dickey

Visitation for Larry L.J. Dickey, 76, of Oakdale will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Stonacek Funeral Chapel in Norfolk. Private memorial service and inurnment will take place at a later date.
He died Monday, Nov. 16, 2015, at Golden Living Center in Norfolk.​

Larry L.J. Dickey, the son of Joseph and Jeroma (Jurva) Dickey was born July 31, 1939, at Leigh. He graduated in Lincoln and then lived in Norfolk.
Larry worked for Hinken Trucking and then started Dickey Trucking for 15 years. He was semi-retired in 1990 and did different jobs in Norfolk. He enjoyed doing mechanical work and fishing.
Survivors are his children, Jeff (Chris) Dickey of Pierce and John (Michele) Dickey of Norfolk; six grandchildren; a sister, Joan Heppner of Norfolk; a brother, Ronald Dickey of Norfolk; and Mary Jo (Allen) Vitamvas of Pender, Lonnie Dickey of Iowa, Faith Lovell of Creighton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Jeroma; a son, Lawrence; two brothers, Jerry and Donald; and a sister, Mary Ann.
