Funeral Services For Kasey Paulsen

Funeral services for Kasey Paulsen, age 3, of Oakdale, Nebraska will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 30, 2016, at Tilden City Auditorium in Tilden, Nebraska. John Petersen will officiate, with burial in Oakdale Cemetery. Visitation will be January 29 at Brockhaus-Harlan Funeral Home in Tilden from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Kasey died Thursday, January 21, 2016.

Kasey Allen Paulsen, son of Justin Paulsen and Katy Griffith, was born August 2, 2012, at Faith Regional Hospital in Norfolk, Nebraska. Kasey loved to eat hot dogs and pizza. He liked to play with tractors, cars, fire trucks and Spider Man toys. Camping, fishing, and playing with his siblings and cousins were some of his favorite activities. Kasey enjoyed watching Paw Patrol and SpongeBob.

Kasey was an organ donor. His parent's choice has restored life's promise for other families.

Kasey is survived by his parents, Justin Paulsen and Katy Griffith; sister, Leah Paulsen; brother, Charles Paulsen; grandparents, Art and Sheryle Griffith and Colleen Paulsen; great-grandparents, Francis and Louise Giehler, Robert and Shirley Scholz, and Wilma Morrison; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Art Griffith, Sr.; great-aunts, Chris Morrison and Judy Wensicker; and great-uncle, Kevin Morrison.
