Funeral Services For Bonnie Finley

On April 11, 2017, Bonnie entered the gates of heaven to be reunited with her soul mate on their 47 wedding anniversary. Funeral Services for Bonnie Finley, age 68 of Norfolk, Ne will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 17, 2017 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Norfolk, NE with Pastor Ryan Taylor, Officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, April 16, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Prayer Service at Our Savior Lutheran Church. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. at Clearwater Cemetery in Clearwater, NE. Bonnie passed away at Faith Regional Hospital in Norfolk, NE with all her family by her side. Arrangements are being conducted by Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Clearwater, NE. Bonnie Mae (Snider) Finley was born on May 25, 1948 to Melvin and Dorothy (Hale) Snider at Norfolk, NE. She grew up in Clearwater and attended Clearwater High School and graduated with the Class of 1966. On April 11, 1970 she was united in marriage to Thomas Finley in Clearwater. She was a secretary for many years; working for Dr Don Bailey and Bauer Hedlund Ford when they lived in O'Neill. When they moved to Hartington in 1995 she worked for LePrino Foods. After Retirement in 2006, they moved to Norfolk. She was a collector of many things. She loved to do crafts, sewing, and baking for the neighbors and friends. She was involved in TOPS and grief share. She looked forward to her Tuesday night dinner parties with her grief share friends. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Norfolk. Bonnie enjoyed the simple gestures of love and kindness in life - phone calls, text messages, baked treats, fellowship, snuggle from grandkids. Her pride and joy was her grandchildren and family gatherings.

She is survived by her children: Jennifer and Mark Bazyn of Norfolk, NE, Melissa and Jason Vietor of Norfolk, NE, Nancy and Carl Schieffer of Crofton, NE, and David and Ashley Finley of Fullerton, NE. Honorary daughter, Jackie Bright of Sioux Falls, SD. Grandchildren: Vanessa Vietor, Austin Vietor, Josie Bazyn, Hannah Schieffer, Peyton Vietor, Ashlynn Schieffer, Keston Rubeck, Jacob Finley, Anesha Bright, Matthew Bazyn, Jaxin Finley, Breanna Schieffer, Katelynn Schieffer, Brother, Donald and wife, Barbara Snider of Elgin, NE. Sisters, Sharon and husband, Lyle Larson of Valentine, NE and Beverly Wright of Oakdale, NE. Brother-in-law, Ron Sanne of Clearwater, NE and sister-in-law, Marilyn Good of Ewing, NE. Many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

She was preceded in her death by parents and husband (2007). Sisters, Helen Sanne and infant sister Barbara Ann Snider. Brother-in-laws, Fred Wright and James Good.
