Funeral Service For Delores 'Dee' Wolske

Funeral services for Delores M. "Dee" Wolske, age 88 of Tilden, Nebraska, will be held Monday, April 20, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. at Faith United Methodist Church in Tilden. Pastor Ralph Metschke will officiate with burial in the Tilden City Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Brockhaus-Harlan Funeral Home in Tilden.

She died Thursday, April 16, 2015, at Community Pride Care Center in Battle Creek, Nebraska.

Delores M. Wolske, daughter of Otis and Marie (Ray) Priestley, was born September 15, 1926, in Tilden, Nebraska. As a child, Delores lived in Hartington, Nebraska and also in Missouri, and other places until her father bought a farm north of Tilden. Delores graduated from Tilden High School. At the age of 16, she started working as a clerk at the Post Office, and retired as Postmaster of the Tilden Post Office. 

On January 14, 1950, she was united in marriage to Duane Wolske at Neligh, Nebraska. Delores spent most of her life in Tilden. She was a member of Faith 
United Methodist Church in Tilden. Delores was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She enjoyed square dancing, waterskiing, snowskiing, and taught painting and dancing lessons. After Delores retired, she saved money to buy an organ, and learned to play it.

Delores is survived by her husband, Duane; two sisters-in-law; and many nieces, nephews, and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and one sister-in-law.
