Endorf Brings History To Life With Performance

Charlotte Endorf of Norfolk brought history to life last week with her performance of the Orphan Train at the Oakdale Community Center.

Sponsored by the Cover To Cover Book Club, Endorf presented “Fragile Excess Baggage through the Nebraska Humanities Council. Dressed in typical attire from the late 1800s, Endorf plays the part of an Orphan Train agent to tell the story of the children who road the train across the country as orphans.

The Cover To Cover Book Club will meet again Tuesday, Oct. 24.
