Two people were transported following a two-vehicle accident west of Neligh on Friday afternoon.
According to the Antelope County Sheriff's Department, 63-year-old Vicki Harvey of Page and six-year-old Calvin Harvey of Louisville were transported to Antelope Memorial Hospital. Vicki Harvey was later transported to Faith Regional Hospital in Norfolk. Calvin Harvey was treated and released.
Investigating officers said Vicki Harvey was eastbound in a 2008 Nissan Sentra when she crossed the center line and sideswiped a westbound 2003 Chevy Silverado pickup and horse trailer driven by Tony March, 52, of Hot Springs, S.D. Also in the vehicle was his 13-year-old daughter, Cassidy.
Seatbelts were in use by both drivers and Calvin Harvey was belted in a booster seat.
The Antelope County Sheriff’s Department, Neligh Police Department, Nebraska State Patrol, Neligh Rescue, Clearwater Fire and Rescue, Neligh Volunteer Fire Department and Neligh-Oakdale Jaws of Life responded to the accident.
