Townhall Meeting Set In Neligh To Gather Input On Area Needs

The Northeast Nebraska Economic Development District (NENEDD) will host several townhall meetings in the area, including one in Neligh.

Neligh's townhall meeting is set for Wednesday, Oct. 24 from 11 a.m. to noon in the Neligh City Council Chambers, 202 Main St. NENEDD is holding various townhall meetings to share the CEDS survey results and gather more input on the needs of the region.

NENEDD is in the beginning stages of creating our region’s 5-year Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS). The CEDS is designed to bring together the public and private sectors in the creation of an economic road-map to diversify and strengthen regional economies.  The CEDS serves as a guide for establishing regional goals and objectives, developing and implementing a regional plan of action and identifying investment priorities and funding sources.
