What activities did you participate in while in high school?
FBLA (3 years), FCCLA (3 years), Band (4 years), Choir (4 years), Musical (3 years), Student Council (1 year), Speech (1 year), One-Act (1 year), N-O Club (4 years), Yearbook (1 year)

What is your favorite memory of high school?
There is way too many to pick! Honestly any memories from when I was with Metschke. He was such a big part of my life from the moment I met him. When you were with him or the band or the choir you are just bound to have a good time. What about my sophomore year when it pored rain while we were marching in the Lion Club Parade in Norfolk but still the crowd was screaming while we were playing. Like this year after the parade when Griffin’s hat got ran over by a car flying by or when Cole and Christian would scream out the bus to random people asking if they want some dirt. Let’s not forget about on are way back from Harvest of Harmony when I woke up to Cole peeing in a bottle cause he had to pee to bad. But one that will stick with me forever is when I got to go up and retrieve the first place trophy at the Wayne State Parade and Jenny Higgins capture the moment of me holding the trophy up. Now that photo is hanging high up in our trophy case. I almost forgot about singing with Foreigner. Mrs. Sehi, Metschke, and us kids had such a good time being Juke Box Hero’s.

What advice can you offer underclassmen?
High School is such a big part of your life, make the most of it while you are there. Go to the home games, get involved with activities, and just have fun. You will only get out what you put in. Also be a leader! Nate Metschke really taught me how to push outside of my comfort zone and I am so glad that I did. The world needs more leaders.

What are your future plans (college with major if known or workforce) and where do you hope to be in five years?
I will be continuing my education at Northeast Community College in Norfolk obtaining either my Associate of Applied Science Degree in Health Information Management System or my Associates of Arts degree in music education. Depending on the path I hope to have a job somewhere in Northeast Nebraska while living in Neligh.
