Neligh-Oakdale Goes 1-1 Against Bloomfield At Home

The Lady Warriors felt the sting as they fell to Bloomfield, but the Warrior boys easily swatted the Bees on their home court Friday night.

The girls got off to a sluggish start, scoring just 5 points in the first quarter. Bloomfield led 26-14 at the half and continued to pull away to pick up the 54-33 win.

Kinsley Klabenes led Neligh-Oakdale with 12 points, followed by Heather Pellatz with 9; and Bailey Frey, Taylor Sehi and Kayla Wright each with 4.

The Warrior boys came out firing from the start and jumped out to a 20-7 lead after just 8 minutes of play. They extended their lead and finished with a 56-34 victory.

Alex Kerkman was hot from three-point land, hitting 5 of 6 treys. Kerkman led the Warriors with 18 points, followed by Grant White with 16, Tyson Belitz 11, Damon Arehart 6, Nate Buck 4 and Clayton Anderson 1.
