Historic flooding led to dangerous situations Wednesday, including two rope rescues.
The first involved two minors from the Elkhorn River in Neligh's Riverside Park. The other involved two adults at an Oakdale home surrounded by the Cedar Creek.
The minors were located near Belmer Creek with one of them in the water. The Neligh Police Department and Neligh Fire and Rescue were on the scene and pulled the minor from the water and to safety.
The adults were rescued by the Neligh Fire Department with assistance by the Oakdale Fire Department, Antelope County road crew and Neligh Police Department.
