Elder Family Hosts Tailgate To Help N-O Booster Club

It wasn't an ordinary Neligh-Oakdale football game for Joann Olson and her family on Friday night — and it wasn't just because of the 5 p.m. kickoff.

Olson, along with her family, won a Warrior Tailgate at the home of Andy and Amanda Elder, who live just to the west of Warrior Field. The Elder family donated their home, along with food and drinks, as a fundraiser for the Neligh-Oakdale Booster Club, which sold chances to win the tailgate during the month of September.

The Elders moved to Neligh last year when Andy became the new president of the Neligh branch of Pinnacle Bank. His wife, Amanda, works at Neligh-Oakdale Schools. They have two daughters, Hannah and Alison.
