Eight Neligh-Oakdale FCCLA Students Qualify For State

Eight students from the Neligh-Oakdale FCCLA chapter qualified for the state STAR competition on Wednesday.

The Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) district contest was held at Wayne State College.

State qualifiers—Skylar Long, Emma Bixler, Jose Luna-Duran, Lesly Luna-Duran, Sadie Heckert, Aleesha Bergman, Meredith Wiseman and Isabella Smidt—will present their projects at the State Leadership Conference, April 7-9, in Lincoln.

Neligh-Oakdale's FCCLA is led by sponsor Kimberly Scarborough.
