Donate Online To Assist With Sydney Loofe Search

It's been just over a week since Sydney Loofe was last seen, and while the Neligh native has not been found, the search continues.

An account called Sydney Loofe Search has been set up at Heritage Bank in Neligh, Nebraska, for those who feel compelled to assist in the search. People can also donate online to the search by clicking here.

Sydney's parents, George and Susie Loofe, said they appreciate all of the support they have received and are overwhelmed by their family and friends, as well as the many strangers who have shared Sydney's information in an effort to reach even more people who may have seen Sydney.

"We thank all of you for your prayers and support as the search continues for Sydney. Your support in sharing information on Sydney is greatly appreciated as we work to reach people all over the country since Sydney could be anywhere. Despite few leads, we remain hopeful for Sydney’s safe return," the Loofes said via a statement at the candlelight vigil in Neligh on Sunday evening.

​Sydney Loofe, 24 of Lincoln and formerly of Neligh, has been missing since Wednesday. The Loofe family has said that their last contact with Sydney was via SnapChat prior to a date on Wednesday, Nov. 15, with a woman she met online. She did not go to work the next morning and her vehicle remained at her apartment.

​Sydney has a yin-yang on one of her forearms, the word "Believe" with a cross on the inside of her left wrist, and the phrase "Everything will be wonderful someday" on her right bicep.
