Ewing’s 2019 homecoming is set for next week, Aug. 26-30. Homecoming king and queen candidates and class attendants were announced today.
Homecoming king candidates are Wyatt Wagner, Connor Napier, Xavier Hobbs, and queen candidates are Summer Schroeder, Tiana Thramer and Ashley Koenig.
Class attendants are freshmen Dylan Barlow and Emma Funk; sophomores Charlie Anson and Kolton McAllister; and juniors Dalton Rotherham and Brenna Wagner.
Spirit week activities will kick off on Monday with dress up days.

Monday - Decades Day
Tuesday - Hunter/Camo Day
Wednesday - Opposite Day
Thursday - Bobcat Day
Friday - Renegade Day
“Old Disney Channel TV Shows” will be this year’s poster theme. More fun activities are planned for Wednesday night as a snake dance, bon fire, pep rally and hot dog feed are set for 7 p.m.
The Bobcat volleyball team will open their season in Clearwater with a triangular on Thursday night at 5 p.m.
The homecoming parade is scheduled for 1:10 p.m. on Friday. The parade route will begin at the elementary school and continue downtown before heading back toward the school. The float theme is “songs.” A pep rally and coronation will follow in the gym.
The CWCE Renegades will kick off their football season at home on Friday night at 7 p.m. against Hartington-Newcastle.
