Wolfpack Top Boyd Co In Straight Sets To Stay Undefeated

The Elgin Public/Pope John Wolfpack have had a strong season so far in 2016, but Thursday's win over Boyd County may have been their best yet.

The Wolfpack topped the Spartans in straight sets, 25-12, 25-8 and 25-13 to improve to 5-0 on the season.

Liz Selting once again led the Wolfpack attack, recording 11 kills at an impressive rate of 57.9 percent. Amy Nelson added seven kills of her own, Paige Meis added six kills and Grace Henn put down five kills.

Baylee Wemhoff did her part as well, recording four aces.

The Wolfpack now take their undefeated record on the road to compete at the Howells-Dodge Tournament Saturday.
