Wolfpack Splits Games At Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family

Wolfpack fans were on the edge of their seats as both the boys and girls basketball games came down to the final seconds Thursday night.

Down by just one point heading into the final quarter, the girls were edged out, 40-35, by Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family.

Sophomore Baylee Wemhoff led the way for EPPJ with 15 points, followed by Jenna Parks with 8 points and 11 rebounds. Click here for full stats.

In the boys game, a big fourth quarter sparked the Wolfpack, who had trailed most of the contest. EPPJ topped the Bulldogs, 51-49.

Seth Schumacher led all scorers with 21 points, followed by Kyle Heithoff with 10 points and 8 rebounds. Click here for complete game stats.

The teams will be in action again on Saturday when they both play Neligh-Oakdale in the NVC Tournament at Stuart. Girls will begin at 4:15 p.m. and the boys will play at 6 p.m. Click here for the NVC Tournament bracket.
