Wolfpack Host Elgin Public/Pope John Wrestling Tournament

The Elgin Public/Pope John wrestlers hosted a fantastic tournament Thursday at St. Boniface.

Despite having to reschedule from Saturday due to weather, 22 teams made their way to Elgin for the day.

The Wolfpack were led by Cory Romej on the day. Romej was the only Wolfpack wrestler to take home a win, taking down Neligh-Oakdale's Calli Wilkinson in the third round of consolations.

EPPJ will return to the mat January 6 when they take part in the Burwell Invite.
