Wolfpack Girls Basketball Team One Win Away From State

The Wolfpack girls basketball team picked up a big win in the C2-10 Subdistrict Final at O'Neill High School last night against the West Holt Huskies.

The girls held a 7-point lead at the half and came back to take the game 49-37. This improves the team's record to 19-7 on the season.

Scoring for the Wolfpack was led by Baylee Wemhoff with 14 points followed by Jenna Parks with 11 and Liz Selting added 10. Other scorers included Jordan Mescher, 8, and Allyson Wemhoff, 6.

Up next the team will take on Crofton on Friday Feb. 26  for a chance at the district title and a ticket to the state tournament.
