Wolfpack Basketball Teams Win One, Lose One At Home

It was "winner take all" at the Wolfpack basketball games on Friday and Saturday.

Both EPPJ teams fell to Stuart at home on Friday, but rebounded to take both home court victories against Elkhorn Valley on Saturday.

The Lady Broncos jumped out to a 36-19 halftime lead over the Wolfpack, but EPPJ clawed their way back by scoring 20 points in the third quarter. In the end, their efforts fell short as Stuart defeated them 64-48. The Lady Wolfpack cruised to a 60-41 win over Elkhorn Valley the following night, improving their record to 10-4 overall. 

The EPPJ boys came up short against Stuart, 63-44, but bounced back to claim a 49-35 victory over EV on Saturday. They are now 4-9 on the season.

On Tuesday, Elgin Public/Pope John will play a road game with Clarkson/Leigh.
