Wolfpack Basketball Teams Split Road Games Last Weekend

The Elgin Public/Pope John basketball teams split their games on the road over the weekend.

The Lady Wolfpack improved their record to 4-0, grabbing victories over Plainview and Riverside.

The girls picked up a 43-36 win over Plainview and defeated Riverside, 55-43.

In the Plainview game, Jenna Parks led the team with 13 points, followed by Baylee Wemhoff with 10. Against Riverside, Parks scored 15 points, followed by Wemhoff with 14 and Liz Selting with 10.

The EPPJ boys defeated Plainview, 63-38 on Friday night, but fell to Riverside on Saturday, 67-51.

Jack Borer led the Wolfpack with 15 points, followed by Jake Eischeid with 10 in the Plainview game. 
Against Riverside, Kyle Heithoff scored 17 points and Seth Schumacher recorded 9.

EPPJ will host Boyd County on Saturday.
