'Vegas Night,' Magic Highlight Elgin Public's Prom This Year

It was a night of magic and Las Vegas at the Elgin Public School's Jr./Sr. Prom.

Prom was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Elgin on Saturday, April 11. 

"Las Vegas" was the prom theme, and the theme continued at post prom in the Elgin Public School gym after the dance.

Sponsored by the junior parents, post prom featured magician Adam White of Lincoln, who entertained the kids by walking around the room performing magic tricks before his stage show. 

After his two hours of magic, the kids continued with their "vegas night" theme of games, and all went home with gifts from the Elgin Public Post Prom sponsors.
