Update: Logann Pelster Continues On His Road To Recovery

Logann Pelster, an Elgin toddler who underwent brain surgery early last month is continuing his road to recovery.

Logann, age 2, is now at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln, where he is working on physical, occupational and speech therapy. According to family, his sodium levels are being regulated by medication. 

He is expected to remain at Madonna's until June 13th.

Once he is home, Logann will continue therapy and have regular doctor visits to keep an eye on the fragments of the tumor that remain.

The online fund in Logann’s name has raised nearly $900 on their goal of $3,000 from 19 different donors. Donations are still accepted both online and can be mailed directly to his account at the Bank of Elgin.
