Three Wolfpack Footballers Named To D1-4 All-District Team

Three Wolfpack players were honored for their strong play on the gridiron this season.

The D1-4 All-District teams were announced today. Leading the way for Elgin Public/Pope John were Liam Heithoff and Chad Bode. Heithoff finished the year with 105 total tackles and set a new school record for solo tackles in a season with 52. Bode, a first team pick despite playing in just two full games, finished with 335 yards rushing with three touchdowns. He also added 24 tackles on defense.

Miles Schrage earned honorable mention for EPPJ as well. Schrage finished the year with 88 total tackles and nine sacks.
