Students Win Contest, 'Keep Christ In Christmas'

Knights of Columbus Council 2411 recently awarded six Pope John XXIIII and St. Boniface Catholic School students as winners of their “Keep Christ in Christmas” poster contest.

​First place was awarded to Elyse Warnke (6th-8th Grade Division), Kaitey Schumacher (3rd-5th Grade Division), and Amelia Borer (K-2nd Grade Division). Second place winners were Nevaeh Jockens (6th-8th Grade Division), Juliana McNally (3rd-5th Grade Division), and Sara Hemenway (K-2nd Grade Division).

The first place entries will advance to the district/region and then to state, national and international levels. The winning entries will serve as the basis for a series of new Christmas posters that encourage a deeper understanding of the holiday.
