Still Undefeated: Wolfpack Sweep Triangular For 4-0 Start

Chalk up two more wins as the Wolfpack swept their own double triangular on Tuesday night to stay undefeated.

Elgin Public/Pope John opened play against Ewing by winning 25-16, 22 and then topped Niobara-Verdigre 25-13, 25-6.

Against Ewing, senior Liz Selting put down a team-high 10 kills for a .389 hitting percentage. She also had a solo block. Amy Nelson had two ace serves.

In the finale against the Cougars, EPPJ had 12 ace serves - led by junior Calli Krebs with three. Selting had another 10 kills and upped her percentage to .412. Grace Henn and Paige Meis added five and four kills, respectively. Nelson had three solo blocks in the win.

The Wolfpack (4-0) will be back in action Thursday as they host Boyd County.
