Pope John XXIII and St. Boniface Catholic Schools in Elgin will be having New Student Visitation Day on Friday, April 13. Prospective students can spend the day exploring what the schools have to offer.
Incoming Pre-K students can visit the classroom from 8:00-11:40 a.m. They will spend the morning exploring a variety of enrichment activities that foster social, physical, emotional and academic development. The Pre-K program is a five-day a week program for 4 year-olds. New this year, two sessions will be offered for parents to choose from: mornings from 8:05-11:30 a.m. and afternoons from 12:30 -3:43 p.m. Students in grades K-6 will spend the morning in the classroom, be our guest for lunch, and participate in activities during the afternoon with their classmates. Current 6th-11th graders will spend the day with a “host student” attending regular classes. They will also be our guests for lunch and enjoy activities in the afternoon with their classmates. The regular school day is from 8:00 a.m. to 3:43 p.m. daily. If students need bus service to attend, please let the school know so arrangements can be made. NHS students and administration will be available from 8:00-9:00 a.m. to give tours of the school and answer questions. Students of all Christian faiths are welcome to attend. Tuition scholarships and grants are available and application forms may be picked up at this time as well. If unable to attend, please contact the school to schedule a different time.
