Pope John And St. Boniface Catholic Schools Host Artist

Pope John XXIII and St. Boniface Catholic Schools hosted Donna Gunn, as their artist in residence during Catholic Schools Week. 

Students participated in a variety of activities such as active listening, singing, hands-on creating, composing, dancing and performing. They ended the week with a performance, Music On the Trail: From Westport, Missouri, to "Oregon Blue."

Students joined the pioneers as they traversed the Oregon Trail. American folk songs were sung as they experienced the covered wagon way of life. The residency was funded by the Nebraska Arts Council and Friends of St. Boniface.
