Falcon Wrestlers Take Second Place At EPPJ Tournament

The Elgin Public/Pope John wrestling team hosted a tournament on Saturday, inviting 20 other area schools.

Elkhorn Valley landed in second place with 128 team points, led by Dillon Stewart, Chris Peterson, and Noah Rutjens who all received first place in their class.

The Wolfpack racked up 49.5 points landing them in 12th place. Ryan Pelster and Andrew Fangman placed 2nd in their weight classes, leading the team in points. 

​With 82 team points, Clearwater-Orchard came in 7th place. Senior, Riley Snider placed 1st in the 182 lb. weight class.
