EPPJ Golfers Earn Third Place In Ewing Golf Invitational

The Elgin Public/Pope John golfers captured third place in the Ewing Golf Invitational on Wednesday.

Fourteen schools competed in the meet at Summerland Golf Course. EPPJ shot a combined 376 to claim third. Norfolk Catholic shot a 338 for first place, followed by West Holt with 350. 

Brandon Clausen of Norfolk Catholic was the top individual medalist with an 83 on the day. Kyle Heithoff and Chad Bode led the way for the Wolfpack, shooting an 86 and an 87 for ninth and tenth place, respectively. Other EPPJ scores were: Regan Kerkman, 100; Miles Schrage, 103; and Jack Borer, 117.
