EPPJ Defeats CWC To Claim 3rd In Conference Tourney

The Lady Wolfpack entered the NVC Tournament as the third seed and finished in third place on Friday night with a win over CWC.

Elgin Public/Pope John won the four-set consolation match, 25-20, 25-20, 16-25 and 25-23.

The consolation and championship games were played at O'Neill High School. St. Mary's defeated Stuart in four sets to win the championship.

EPPJ's record is now 24-4 on the season. The team will be back at O'Neill High School at 7:30 p.m. Monday for C2-8 subdistrict action. The Lady Wolfpack will play the winner of the Niobrara/Verdigre vs. Neligh-Oakdale game. Click here for the complete subdistrict bracket.
