Elgin VFW Auxiliary To Host Christmas Tour Of Homes

The Elgin Veterans of Foreign Wars Sharkey-Reuss Auxiliary #5816 is hosting a Christmas Tour of Homes on Sunday, December 9. The tours will be available from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. that day. This event is a fundraiser for the VFW Auxiliary and is sponsored in part by the Antelope County Visitors Promotion Fund.

Twelve residences will be decorated for the Christmas season. The public is invited to view the homes of Heidi Rethmeier and Jennifer and Dane Nielsen in Neligh. Elgin locations include Jodine & Marvin Meis, Rosie Schueths, Diane & Bernie Kluthe, Yoli & Larry Anderson, Betty & Jim Getzfred, Tina & Blaine Blecher, Jayne & Gary Arehart, Julie Jochum, Jessica & Luke Hinkle, and the public area of Steeple View Apartments.

Tickets will be on sale the day of the tour at the Elgin Community Center. While purchasing tickets and before and after viewing homes, free refreshments will be served.
