Elgin Public Schools Hosts 'Donuts With Dads' Event Thursday

Thursday morning the Elgin Public School gym was filled with elementary students and their fathers. 

Principal Greg Wemhoff hosted the Donuts with Dads event for the elementary students and their dads.  

Students were allowed to bring their father, (or a male of their choosing) to school to enjoy a donut with coffee, juice, or milk and do a little reading. Bean bags, folding chairs, and the bleachers helped the children get comfortable for a little reading time with their dad.
Elgin Public School wanted to thank all those who participated in the event,  the kitchen staff for preparing the donuts and Mr. Wemhoff for organizing this event.
