Elgin Ko-Ed To Host Tailgate, Show Husker Game Saturday

The third annual tailgate, sponsored by the Elgin Ko-Ed Group, is set for Saturday, Sept. 13. 

The tailgate will be held on CVA's lot, directly begin Dean's Market in Elgin.

Activities are planned prior to the kickoff of the Husker football game against Fresno State University. The game is scheduled to start at 9:30 p.m. and will be shown on a 12-foot by 16-foot screen.

Gates will open at 6 p.m. There will be a cash bar throughout the evening. A hamburger/BBQ meal is included with the admission price. Admission is $10 for ages 13 and up; $5 for kids ages 5-12; and age 5 and under are free. Bring a chair for this event. From 6:30 p.m. until sunset, an adult Punt, Pass & Kick competition will be held.
