Antelope County Pools Ready For Summer Season

Nothing says summer like a splash in one of our local pools and they are all opening their doors. 

Elgin Pool:
The Elgin City Pool opened on Monday, May 25th. Their hours this summer will be Monday-Thursday 1 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Weekend hours will be Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. The manager this year is Sue Vanis with submanagers Madi Voborny and Ivy Prater. There will be Red Cross Lessons as well as private swim lessons available. Contact the pool for more information: 402-843-5900.

Neligh Pool:
The Neligh City Pool will be opening Saturday, May 30th, weather permitting. The temperature outside must be at least 74 degrees, before they are able to open. The hours through the summer will be every day, from 1 to 8 p.m. The manager this year will be Emily Anderson with assistant manager, Taylor White. Swim Lessons are to yet to be determined. Tilden Pool:
The opening of Tilden City Pool is to be determined. Their summer hours will be from 1  to 5 p.m. with a night swim as well. There will be group swim lessons available at $25 per child. Contact the pool for more information: 402-368-2121.

Orchard Pool:
Orchard’s pool is scheduled to open on Monday, June 1. Summer hours will be Sunday through Saturday, from 1 to 5 p.m., and Tuesdays and Thursdays 6 p.m.-8 p.m. After the 4th of July, hours will be Monday-Thursday, from 6  to 8 p.m. For more information, you can contact the pool: 402-893-3737.
