Account Set Up To Help Moores With Medical Expenses

Due to recent medical bills associated with Teresa's illness, friends have created a benefit bank account for Teresa and Bob Moore.

In February, Teresa starting getting sick while visiting family in South Dakota, so she came home early to recover. After few days of getting worse, she went to the doctor on February 24 and was admitted to AMH shortly after. Doctors discovered a large mass on her liver while there, so she was transported by ambulance to Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk a few days later. She grew sicker by the day and was again transported by ambulance after a few days. They took her to UNMC in Omaha, where UNMC doctors determined she had an abscess the size of a grapefruit leaking toxins into her body, making her septic. She had a drain installed and started treatment. Teresa was able to come home using home health services after they trained her to give herself IV meds, and family members were also able to help her out. She has since returned to work part time, but is still taking treatment and going to UNMC weekly in hopes to recover fully for her illness.
