Wreath Placed In River During Memorial Day Ceremony

Clearwater's Memorial Day services began with the River Bridge Program where a wreath was put into the Elkhorn River in honor of our fallen heroes.

Due to the river being so high, the boat that is usually floated down the river was not used this year. 

Father James Kramper gave the prayer followed by those in attendance singing "Nearer My God To Thee." The honor guard fired and "Taps" was then played by the American Legion Post #267.

At the Clearwater Cemetery, Father Kramper gave the message. Steve Johnson then performed while those in attendance later sang "Amazing Grace."
