Thiele Places Sixth In 400, Claims Her Fourth Medal At State

Kylie Thiele may only be a freshman, but the 2014 state track and field meet will be one she never forgets.

Thiele picked up her fourth medal of the meet on Saturday by finishing sixth in the 400-meter dash in a time of 1:02.27. Maddison Nygren of Mead won the race in 1:00.491.

Earlier on Saturday, Thiele helped the Clearwater-Orchard 4x100 team to a second-place finish. She started the day with a sixth-place finish in the 800. 

On Friday, Thiele competed with the 4x800 that finished fifth.
